The Minden & District Horticultural Society invites you to our May General Meeting. Our guest speaker this month is Dave Kranenberg of Kendal Hills Game Farm to talk to us about “Mushrooms: cultivating, varieties and health benefits”. Dave, his wife Emily, as well as their 2 children and Emily’s parents are working with the land to farm pasture-raised fowl and other livestock and to cultivate and wild-harvest gourmet mushrooms.
The refreshment theme is ‘Cheese Please’ and we look forward to sampling your cheesy treats.
