The Minden & District Horticultural Society looks forward to seeing you at the March General Meeting on Tuesday, March 7 at 1:00pm.

We welcome special guest, Leora Berman, who’s speaking engagement is entitled ‘The Land and Shores Between’.  Leora will speak to us about the unique and special features of the region that make it valuable for Ontario’s future health and well being and explain why it is those aspects of the area that make it vulnerable to certain development and pollution. Leora will also show us ways to naturalize shorelines to support regional biodiversity while keeping them beautiful and appealing.  Obviously a very important issue for us here in the Haliburton Highlands.  For more information, please click HERE.
